Lights of Love is a Ronald McDonald House Charities® Newfoundland and Labrador signature holiday event that helps raise funds to provide programs and services to our families. The annual holiday Lights of Love fundraiser brings the light of hope and love to families who must stay in St. John’s to be with their sick or injured child during this special season. Be a light of hope for sick children and their families and help us turn that tree red with love.
To start the Lights of Love Tree Campaign, Ronald McDonald House will erect a large outdoor Christmas tree on the grounds of Ronald McDonald House in St. John’s, and in participating communities throughout our province. The tree is initially decorated with white bulbs and with love, the tree will change to red.
This Holiday Season honour or remember that special person in your life or that hard to shop for person on your Christmas list with a red light that will shine bright on the RMHC Lights of Love tree for the children and families at Ronald McDonald House. When you make a donation, you will then receive a red light to shine on the Lights of Love Tree. Everyday, there are families traveling to St. John’s with a sick or injured child and they are going through, what could be, their family’s “darkest time”. You can honour a friend, teacher, co-worker or family member by purchasing a light . We will send an acknowledgement card to the person you wish to honour.
Together, we can bring hope to families at Ronald McDonald House this holiday season!!
