A Day by the Bay Golf Classic is a fundraiser organized by the New Harbour Red Shoe Crew to keep families close at Ronald McDonald House Charities Newfoundland and Labrador when sick or injured children and their families must travel to St. John’s for medical reasons. Golfers of all skill levels join together for fun, networking, giveaways and ultimately to celebrate families.

Due to current Public Health Restrictions the event looks different this year.  This year it will be A Day by the Bay Golf Classic – Your Day Your Way! Between now and the end of September, on a day of your choice,  each registered team (4 person team) will enjoy 18 holes of golf, and plenty of games and prizes. Once registered teams receive certificates to golf on any day of their choice. Teams also receive certificates for a meal at Jiggs n Reels to enjoy following their tee off time!!

RMHC NL has experienced a significant reduction of funding due to cancellation of fundraising events, suspended in house volunteer programs, cancelled program support from outside groups and increased costs due to heightened infection control processes as a result of COVID-19. We need your help now more than ever!

We believe we are stronger together. And, if we can’t be together, we can work together to support families with a sick or injured child. Once registered, Teams can set their own tee off directly with Pitcher’s Pond Golf Course

Pitchers Pond Golf Course is located on the south side of Trinity Bay on Route 80. One of Newfoundland and Labradors recent golf courses, this facility was opened in early July of 2005.

The course is constructed on the hills overlooking beautiful Trinity Bay and the scenic beauty of Pitchers Pond. Here as you enjoy your game of golf you will also enjoy nature at its finest.
