Lights of Love Tree
Lights of Love Campaign
Lights of Love is a Ronald McDonald House Charities signature holiday event that helps raise funds to provide programs and services. Our annual holiday Lights of Love fundraiser brings the light of hope and love to families who must stay in St. John’s to be with their sick or injured child during this special season.
To start the Lights of Love Tree Campaign, Ronald McDonald House will erect a large outdoor Christmas tree on the grounds of Ronald McDonald House in St. John’s, and in participating communities throughout our province. The tree is initially decorated with white bulbs and with love, the tree will change to red.
Everyone is invited to make a donation through to December 31st, you will then receive a red light to shine on the Lights of Love Tree. Everyday, there are families traveling to St. John’s with a sick or injured child and they are going through, what could be, their family’s “darkest time”.
Please join us! Together, we can bring light to families at Ronald McDonald House this holiday season.
You can honour a friend, teacher, co-worker or family member by purchasing a light now through December 31st. We will send an acknowledgement card to the person you wish to honour.
